The c3 complement blood test kit is used for in vitro quantitative determination of complement 3 in human serum samples, as an auxiliary diagnostic application.
A certain amount of complement 3 in human serum meets the corresponding antibody (sheep anti-human complement 3 antibody) of the reagent in the liquid phase, and combines to form antigen-antibody complex, resulting in certain turbidity. This turbidity is proportional to the concentration of complement 3 in the sample in the presence of sufficient antibodies. After measuring the turbidity, the concentration of complement 3 in the sample serum can be obtained by comparing it with the standard serum.

C3 medical blood test is used for the quantitative determination of serum complement C3. The C3 in the serum and the specific C3 antibody in the reagent form an antigen-antibody complex to produce turbidity when performing the C3 diagnostic test. When a certain amount of antibody is present, the turbidity is proportional to the C3 in the serum. By measuring the absorbance value of a specific wavelength and referring to the calibration curve, the content of C3 in the serum can be calculated. That's what complement 3 test for.
Here is the meaning of C3 antibody test. The dynamic changes of complement are getting more and more attention in clinic. The total complement and C3 in serum of patients with gastritis caused by antigen-antibody complexes decreased significantly. The decrease of serum complement in most patients with systemic lupus erythematosus is related to the deterioration of the disease. The serum levels of C1, C4, C2, and C3 in patients with active systemic lupus erythematosus are reduced, and serum complement levels return to normal when the condition is relieved. In infectious diseases, tissue damage and acute inflammation, C2, C3, and C4 all increase, and total complement activity is normal or elevated. But it is lower in the late period. The amount of complement in tumor patients is increased, especially in liver cancer, C3 is the most significant increase, which is of diagnostic significance.
