This TT4 blood test kit is used for the quantitative determination of total triiodothyrine (TT4) in human serum, plasma, or whole blood in vitro.
Glucocorticoids reduce the levels of TSH and thyroid-binding globulin (TBG) in the blood, so a decrease in serum TT4 can occur in all causes of hypercortisolism. TT4 increased significantly in hyperthyroidism, and TT4 concentration increased in patients with hyperthyroidism T4, while TT3 concentration was normal. Hypothyroidism patients were significantly reduced; Peripheral hypothyroidism, due to defects in or after thyroid hormone receptors, causes peripheral tissues to be insensitive to TT4 and compensatory secretion of TT4 is increased.
This TT4 blood test kit is used for the quantitative determination of TT4 concentration in human serum, plasma, or whole blood by fluorescence immunoassay competition method.
The TT4 antigen in the dissociated sample binds to a fluorescent microsphere labeled mouse anti-human TT4 monoclonal antibody on the binding pad to form a reaction complex.
The reaction complex move forward along the nitrate cellulose membrane by chromatography and is not captured by the TT4 antigen precoated on the test area (T) of the nitrate cellulose membrane, while the excess labeled antibody is captured by the goat anti-mouse IgG polyclonal antibody coated on the NC membrane in the quality control area (C).
After the reaction is completed, the fluorescence intensity of T line and C line is detected by fluorescence immunoassay quantitative analyzer, and the concentration of TT4 in the sample is calculated.
